MartyD
Hi All, What does checking the Windows Log Files box have CC do? Will checking this box affect "Sign-In" to a computer? I believe CC cleaned or altered this so now I have to sign into my computer where as before i had it set up that i did not have to sign in. I unchecked the box and now i do not have to sign in. Thanks, MartyD
Moderators Nergal Posted July 24, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 24, 2018 Log files have nothing to do with log-in. They are files that windows takes that help users/troubleshooters figure out where a computer is erroring. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Log_file ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
