Moderators Nergal Posted July 5, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 5, 2018 are you just blindly removing all entries ccleaner suggests? If so you are probably trying to remove an unremovable (like those tied to your antivirus). The best way to do reg cleaning is in small bits and only what you know you don't need (see my signature below for a more coherent way of saying this). ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Moderators mta Posted July 6, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 6, 2018 any reason you are running reg cleaning at all? Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
