Skipping all edge & IE items how do I turn back on

Recommended Posts

While analyzing my system CCleaner asked if I wanted to close edge I said yes but also checked the box not to ask that question again.  I was thinking it would remember my choice as force close edge not skip all edge components. How can I turn on the edge and Internet explorer cleaning?  I have looked at the existing posts but they don't seem to hit this issue.

I appreciate your help!

Go to Options > Advanced

Untick the box next to "hide warning messages".

Generally CC skips if the browser or one of it's components is still open.

Give it a bit of time (10 seconds?) between closing the browser and running CC to give everything time to close properly and it should stop the skipping.

Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:
