pgushue3
I am running Windows 8,1 and Defraggler 2.22.995(64-bit). Whenever I run defraggler, it correctly reports HDD drives F & G as HDD drives and SSD drives C & D as SSD drives. However, HDD drives H & K are erroneously reported as SSD drives. The only thing I see is the HDD drives being erroneously reported as SSS drives are all under 2 TB while the HDD drives being corrected reported are 3.6 TB. Is there a bug in Defraggler whereby HDD drives of less than 2 TB in size are erroneously reported as SSD drives?
pgushue3
I reverted to Defraggler 2.21.998 and it reports the drives correctly. So the bug seems to be in Defraggler 2.22.
Moderators mta Posted June 7, 2018 Moderators Share Posted June 7, 2018 with the new releases of Speccy, Defraggler and CCleaner, users are reporting HHD's and SSD's getting reported wrongly. this was an attempt to fix a long standing issue in those programs where SSD's were not being recognised, or were reported as HDD's and in some cases where HDD's were flagged as SSD's. for those people, the new releases seem to fix their wrongly reported drives, but now other people have been effected - sort of one step forward, two steps backwards. the Admins are aware of the issue, so hopefully they'll nut it out soon.
