timypcr
What are the equivalent to windows .ini files for mac, I want to save the presets (unchecked boxes) and be able to copy them to other macs. The only .plist I found was info.plist in the application content folder, I was able to determine this had no bearing on the settings case once I ran ccleaner the first time and selected the options I wanted they would be saved – however when I deleted ccleaner.app and restored it from the dmg file and the saved settings were still intact. I cannot seem to track down these files anywhere in the my home folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim
Moderators Nergal Posted May 19, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 19, 2018 Afaik the mac version does not have an analogous expansion that the windows version has ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
