Grimlock
Hello.:) I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how to configure Defraggler to it's best performance. I'm using the free version. I run Windows 10. Thank you.
Moderators mta Posted February 5, 2018 Moderators Share Posted February 5, 2018 g'day grimlock and welcome to the forums, there is little on the options side that changes performance. at the end of the day, it simply has to move chunks of data around your drive. any 'performance' boost would come from what you get DF to do. I for one simply Analyse then sort the File List by Size and select the first few screens, or first 100 or so files and Defrag Highlighted. then I sort by Fragments and repeat. that way I only ever defrag the worse offenders and DF literally takes seconds to minutes to complete. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
