Skeg 0
Why can't CCleaner remove ByteFence Anti-Malware. Clicking on Tools, then Uninstall will NOT remove it. Guess maybe they have more tools than CCleaner? Any help would be appreciated.
Moderators Nergal 0 Posted January 31, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2018 CCleaner's uninstall section is just the same as uninstalling from the program's control panel. Most antimalware require you to run a propritory removal application (eg. NoNav from Norton) as you wouldn't want malware to be able to uninstall your protection.
Moderators hazelnut 5 Posted January 31, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2018 Perhaps have a read here https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-bytefence/ If you didn't install it yourself it could has come 'bundled' when you installed Java or another program .
