Oktazcat Posted May 5, 2006 Share Posted May 5, 2006 I received the e-mail that a new version of CCleaner was available and after clicking on the link and downloading the update, I am unable to install the new version. The error message is as follows: The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus. You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy. It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch (NOT RECOMMENDED). When clicking on the Download tab on the http://www.ccleaner.com/download129.asp page, I have tried the downloads from both FileHippo and Alternate Download. The info says the file is 1.42mb but the downloaded file form either location is only 1.38mb. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
