CCleaner crashed! :O

Recommended Posts

Since I just upgraded to v1.29.295, and I hadn't cleaned my dev box in a while, I ran it without analyzing. It spent a long time chugging away, displayed a log that said it had deleted about 23 MB, and then DrWatson started yelling at me (wanted me to send an error report, yippee). Because dwwin generally deletes the crash dump after Error Reporting runs (and because I've never debugged a specific program before (just STOP crash dumps)), I decided to kill dwwin.exe so I could grab the .dmp for MrG. I ran it through WinDbg and ran the .ecxr and !analyze -v commands already. MrG, if you would like the .dmp file or have additional commands you'd like me to run on it, let me know. Below is the WinDbg log I've gleaned thus far (not for faint of heart):

Specifically interesting to note are the two exception parameters: "deadcafe"

Oh, and I ran CCleaner again afterwards and it had apparently stopped before the other 18.7MB were deleted. It didn't crash this time.
