Duplicate Finder Reversal

Win 7 Pro...used duplicate finder to clean my music files before moving to a new computer. It seems to have deleted ALL the files. Is there a way to reverse and recover? Tried a Windows Restore for days before the action to no avail...no music files. Hundreds of songs, all help appreciated. Thanx.

System Restore points do NOT save any personal data.  they ONLY 'snapshot' system files and only, literally, a handful of them - just enough to recover from a failed update or driver installation or boot up issue.

you have two chances, one is the Recycle Bin, but that's a bloody long shot.
the other is the backups you do religiously because you never know when someone will do something stupid with your PC, you know, that backup you did yesterday ?!? B)

anyway, no good shutting the gate now, that horse is long gone.

do you have any backups?
have you ever turned on the inbuilt Win7 backup program?
does your AV software, like Nortons does, include a backup to the cloud or somewhere?
are your music files in iTunes, if so, they maybe also one of your iDevices or iCloud?

you could try Piriforms recovery program, called Recuva, but it's a long shot too.

Backup now & backup often.
It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.
Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
