Moderators mta 0 Posted December 4, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 4, 2017 damn, that sucks. use it a lot. will have to eventually find something as good, free and without system tray icons. wonder how Sourceforge will screw it up!
Moderators Andavari 1 Posted December 5, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 5, 2017 From the screenshots it does look very good compared to how Win10 looks.

ROCKNROLL 0
It's understandable though. The original idea of classic shell was to bring back the start menu for Windows 8. He only later decided to add different themes and make builds for other Windows operating systems. Still, was a nice tool. It is open-source now, so maybe someone will fork it and continue. Don't know why he chose Sourceforge to distribute it. Sourceforge is pretty dead, in my opinion.
Moderators rridgely 0 Posted December 19, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 19, 2017 Not free but I liked start 8 on windows 8. They make a version for windows 10 as well: https://www.stardock.com/products/start10/ $5 I like the windows 10 start menu though, its basically the same thing as windows 7 the way I have it set up. Just a list of applications on the left and my most used pinned to the right.
