CCleaner, Trojan/Virus Warning

Recommended Posts

I wanted to install the latest version but https://www.virustotal.com/#/home/upload has detected two menace, the one you explain above google concern, and  a second infection Trojan. Rozena. Win32.

Trojan. Rozena. Win32 creates a new account with administrator's(director's) privileges.
Methods of distribution(casting)
Distributed by Web sites and social networks sharing files, masking certain useful programs, crackers, generators of code of series, keys and more still.
Functional possibilities
Once thrown(launched), he(it) creates a new account with a fixed name and a word of pass and adds it to a group of administrators(directors).
Copy your heat to the file(case) Windows (System %) with an arbitrary name.
To execute automatically every time a system starts, Trojan adds a link to its file in Autorun of the key of Register:
[HKLM \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ RunOnce]

Deactivate the display(posting) of files and hidden files(cases).
Destructive opportunities
The fact of having an account administrator(director) created by the program Trojan allows an aggressor to manage the distant system on the Internet or on the local area network.

be sure to get CC from here; https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds

the normal build can trigger false positives in some AV software due to the embedded offering of Chrome.

this can either be ignored or you can download the Slim or Portable builds that do not have the embedded offering.
