Moderators mta Posted July 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 12, 2017 interesting how the most vital piece of information is neglected from that article - the smartphone platform targeted !?! Apple resolved this issue in August 2016 with iOS 9.3.5 Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. Willy2
- Agree. The smartphone platform targeted is indeed missing. - The worrysome thing is that this exploit has been used for a "nefarious" purpose. - The entire story (keyword: exploit) makes it clear that one SHOULD regularly patch up one's smartphone/computer(-system).
