Unable to defrag Windows Store files

Hey, I've been using Defraggler for quite a long time without any trouble. However, I am experiencing a possible issue that I cannot resolve on my own. I'll try to keep it short and to the point.

Software

Windows 10 Pro x64 (licensed)

Piriform Defraggler v2.21.993 (64-bit)

Hard Drives and Partitions

C:\ Samsung 850 PRO SSD

D:\ Seagate 3TB 7200RPM HDD

E:\ Seagate 3TB 7200RPM HDD

The main issue is that I am unable to defrag the following files which are exclusively used by the Microsoft Windows Store. These files belong to the videogame Gears of War 4 which is only available through the Windows Store on Windows 10.

This is the result after a full defrag of my D:\ drive. Any further defragmentation seems impossible.

When I select these files and select Defrag Checked I get the following error:

The only thing that I get from this is that this issue is limited to the Windows Store files and that they are quite large. These files however, are not located on my C:\ Windows partition. As far as I know, this means that Boot Time Defrag won't do any good.

Any possibile solutions?

complete straw clutch, but try defragging with the PC in Safe Mode.

that will eliminate any possibility of locked files or your AV or any other system process getting in your way.

Backup now & backup often.
It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.
Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
