weeshus
I have disabled the Windows Administrator account, when I run Registry CCleaner I get errors on the Administrator Account! I allow CCleaner to fix the problems and then run CCleaner again - same old registry problems again. - Details = 2 unused file extensions / 3 ActiveX?COM issues / 1 missing typelib reference PLUS all are connected with Norton Internet Security All ideas, suggestions welcome Regards Weeshus
Moderators Nergal Posted March 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 12, 2017 Add them to your ignore list. Ccleaner doesn't see them as part of norton because NAV would be vulnerable to attack if it announced that those reg files belong to it. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
