Pause facility with duplicate finder?

Hello all

Am new to this so apologies if this has been covered!

I use Lightroom and it has imported duplicates of many of my images.

Takes a long time to go through all ,and I would like to be able to pause it while I deal with identified duplicates.

Unable to find it in CCLeaner nor searching the forums / help info

Thanks

Leonard

I don't think it can be paused, so thanks for the suggestion Leonard. The devs take note of all, but seldom comment unless they require more info.

Just out of interest, and forgive me if I'm teaching my grandmother how to suck eggs here, but were you aware that you can control the import of duplicate files in Lightroom?

Lightroom determines a photo is a duplicate of another file in the catalog if it has the same, original filename; the same Exif capture date and time; and the same file size. You can instruct Lightroom to disregard duplicate files when importing.

  • In the File Handling panel on the right side of the import window, select Don’t Import Suspected Duplicates.

EDIT: Welcome to the forum by the way.
