xd3vilx Posted April 11, 2006 Share Posted April 11, 2006 As you know a desktop cpu has 3 audio jack...audio in,audio out and mic...however my laptop has only 2...a mic one and a out one (the one with earphone picture)...so if i need to use the audio in jack for a external video capture...where do i place that audio cable?...my mic jack?... thanks... Moderators Andavari Posted April 11, 2006 Moderators Share Posted April 11, 2006 You can use the Microphone In jack, however you are going to have to play around with the Microphone Advanced sound settings so that your recorded sound isn't distorted.
