mkbarsbal
Does ccleaner also wipes deleted files on my internal memory? Encrypting would be good but still i want it to be more secured before selling my phone
Moderators Nergal Posted March 29, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 29, 2016 Wiping doesn't work on a flash based memory. When you encrypt it and then factory reflash, without your decrypt key or google user/password your device's former information doesn't exist. Flash memory stores data differently than hard drives (what we have in (older) PCs) and the data isn't as readily retrievable. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
