OLLI_S
Hello, I started to defrag an external HDD (466 GB in size, 334 GB uses) that is connected via USB 2.0 to my PC. After 12 hours (!!) 99% are done, but defrag is still not finished. Is it normal, that a defrag takes such a long time? Or is this a CCleaner Cloud specific problem (that it would be faster in Defraggler for Windows)? Greetings OLLI
itguy1
Defrag in this is terrible. Yes it can take 5, 10, even 20 hours to complete. Totally useless.
Willy2
- Defragmenting an external HD is Always (much) slower. - I let the program list the fragmented files and then let DF defragment those files only. OLLI_S
Hello, secure deleting the free space on this external HDD via CCleaner Cloud also took 6 hours. Is this an issue of CCleaner Cloud (would it be faster with CCleaner)? OLLI
