Estram
I was looking at my system info, while using ccleaner on my kindle fire, and I don't understand exactly what it's saying. Specifically where it says, "Root Status: No". Is it simply confirming that I haven't rooted my device? There's no user guide detailing what the software is trying to communicate to me. I'm enclosing a screenshot for clarification.
Moderators Nergal Posted December 16, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 16, 2015 Yes, it is doing it's best to identify if your device is rooted. I'm not sure how it does with the new "systemless" root, however, unless that means something to you, you don't need to worry about that. Example, my Nexus 6 on Android Lollipop has been rooted ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Snap, my second edit was going to say that, I had to pull me image and reedit it, by the time I finished I forgot to add that warning.
