RockhorsePark
It's an 80GB Hitachi Travelstar HTS541080G9AT00 ATA Device. Speccy misreports the size of my drive: Model Capacity For This Specific Drive: 800GB. Partitions are reporting correctly, however.
Moderators mta Posted December 11, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 11, 2015 I'm guessing Speccy hasn't divided by 1,000,000 properly to convert bytes into gigabytes. If you start up a Command Prompt, type in wmic and hit Enter. then type the command volume get driveletter, drivetype, capacity and hit Enter. I suspect that will be the place Speccy gets the info from and maybe they no longer cater for such small drives and the decimal point is out of whack. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
