Tgle
I am using Windows 10 Pro 64 bit threshold 2 and Office 2016 64bit - both up to date. I am using ccleaner v5.11.5408 (64 bit). I have ccleaner's Window Explorer unchecked (all boxes ) and my appdata\roaming\microsoft\office\recent folder (all files) in the exclude folder list in Options/Exclude. When I do an analyze scan, files in the exclude folder do not show up but after running ccleaner, and opening an Office application pinned list file links have all gone. This is getting me very frustrated. Can anyone suggest what I am not doing? Thanks in anticipation.

siliconman01
If you examine the code below for [Office 2016] you will see that it does remove the "Recent" documents. I recommend that you request the CCleaner developers remove FileKey1 (and ExcludeKey1-3) from Office 2016 for this month's upcoming release. rgajewski
I am using Windows 7 and CCleaner Pro. I have the Office 2016 application box unchecked. I used the Free version for almost a year with ZERO problems. Now that I have purchased and installed the Pro version, my pinned documents (in Excel 2016) are constantly getting cleared. My recent documents aren't touched - they are always there. It's only the pinned documents that go missing. Is there a solution to this bug? Thanks
