SMalik
I don't have this program, but it still shows up in CCleaner. I think the Detect path needs to be fixed. Also, the program name is Acrobat Reader DC, not Adobe Reader DC.
Moderators mta Posted September 1, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 1, 2015 Well, to take nit-picking even further the actual name is really Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, as seen it the program's title bar and in Help/About. But in Start, All Program list, it shows as Acrobat Reader DC - so go figure. I think people get the gist though. If you run CC with the /EXPORT switch you'll see exactly the DETECT used to determine is Adobe is still lingering on your PC. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. SMalik
After using the /EXPORT switch, I see that they have HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC in Detect. I think they should use this one instead: HKLM\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC [Adobe Reader DC]ID=2407LangSecRef=3021Detect=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DCDefault=TrueRegKey1=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVGeneral\cRecentFilesRegKey2=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVGeneral\cRecentFoldersFileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Cache|*.lstFileKey2=%LocalAppData%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC|*.lstFileKey3=%LocalLowAppData%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Search|*.*
