kevpc 0 Posted July 19, 2015 Share Posted July 19, 2015 hi. i am using latest free version of ccleaner. i have noticed how it doesn't always clean the Windows Explorer Thumbnail Cache with it still showing something left behind. dont remember this happening in earlier versions. any idea why? many tia Link to post Share on other sites
Moderators mta 0 Posted July 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 19, 2015 do you mean the thumbcache files like the ones found here; \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer or thumbs.db files? or maybe, if you are referring to the thumbs.db files found in your Pictures folder, they are being recreated by you visiting that folder. personally, I have an INCLUDE for thumbs.db, I use the Details view in File Explorer so don't want any thumbs files left around. what OS and CC version (don't say latest) are you using?
