Wepynx
I'm not sure this is the right place for this, but here goes. If I do a Quick Format, then reinstall Windows, then run the Check for bad sectors utility, then Wipe Free Space with Ccleaner, would that equal to the same thing as a Full Format ? A Full Format is Deleting the files, checking the sectors and zeroing the whole disk. Would I get the same effect using the much faster Ccleaner wipe option ? Thanks. Moderators Andavari Posted March 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2015 Only thing though is the full format can deal with bad blocks if the disk has any. I don't know how much time saving using the method you mention would be.
Wepynx
Thanks alot Andavari, I was just wondering if the zeroing that Ccleaner does is basically the same as formatting, because a disk check could be ran at a later date. Thanks for the help.
