I have trying to find information regarding using ccleaner with an ssd drive.  I have read many threads on different forums all of which seem to give different information.  I know you should not defrag an ssd drive My question, is it ok to use ccleaner on an ssd drive?  If so, can you use the registry cleaner in ccleaner?

Yes it's fine. Just don't wipe freespace or use any secure overwrite setting

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

It is as safe to use registry cleaner on SSD as it is on a hard drive
