Waseem Tambe
It will be helpful if CCleaner gets the option to clean unnecessary space aquired by Windows Update Cache (Backup) while installing update which is safe to clean if system is performing well, as well as option to clear Windows Update History. It can help in release lots of HDD Space.
inojim
I second this request. Ccleaner seems to do a complete job except for Windows Update files.
Moderators mta Posted November 4, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 4, 2014 it doesn't do it, in my opinion, because it can be a one-way street and cause issues if updates ever have to be reverted. these areas can be added to CC's scope via other means, like INCLUDE's. I think they are currently part of winapp2.ini Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
