Hi, could you please provide any additional details. Does this occur when running a specific action or when trying to launch the applications. Any screenshot or details of the error would be useful.

Thanks :)

that's not something CC removes unless the infected file resides in a temporary folder.

and even then you may only be removing the symptom, not the cause.

you would be better scanning the Mac with an anti-virus software written for the Mac (even though urban myth would have you believe Macs don't get them ;) )

Backup now & backup often.

Hello everyone,

I just made account to reply here. Been a long time user of CCleaner and other products on both my Windows PC and Mac.

Yesterday, I could not successfully run CCleaner Mac 1.09.313 on OS X 10.9.4. It would crash as soon as I launched it. However, I have since updated OS X to 10.9.5 earlier this afternoon. I've found that the CCleaner Mac 1.09.313 runs fine on OS X.

My hardware configuration is MacBook Pro 4.1 (Early 2008):

OS X 10.9.5

Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.5 GHz

4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT w/ 512 MB RAM

250 GB 5400 HDD @ 5400 RPM.

I hope this is helpful.
