Does CCleaner actually stop, or does the progress bar just stop moving? Check your tower to see if there is any hard drive activity while CCleaner is cleaning. If there is (and there should be a lot of it), then CCleaner is still merrily chugging along, and like Eldmannen said, you just have a lot of crap. Save a tree, eat a beaver. Save a tree, wipe with an owl. Every time a bell rings, a thread gets hijacked! ding, ding! Give Andavari lots of money and maybe even consider getting K a DVD-RW drive. thimblerig Posted February 15, 2006 Author Share Posted February 15, 2006 Thank you for the advice which was spot on - although I have been using previous versions on a regular basis and have got used to speedy cleaning it was the crap in the AVG folder that appeared to be the problem.
