PocketAppZ
Please add support for cleaning and optimizing of 360 Browser More information can be found here. It is a Chrome-based browser but when I use SpeedyFox to optimize the profile folder, it is reported as an Opera-based browser. Just thought that information would be helpful. Moderators mta Posted April 24, 2014 Moderators Share Posted April 24, 2014 didn't Opera change it's engine to a Chromium based one mid last year? PocketAppZ
They did. I'm not 100% savvy about this kind of thing. I just know that 360 Browser does not show up in the cleaning options in CCleaner. I'm told that the browser is based on an older version of Chrome. Just thought it might be helpful to mention that SpeedyFox recognizes the profile folder as Opera.
Moderators Nergal Posted April 25, 2014 Moderators Share Posted April 25, 2014 360 should be cleaned if you use customlocation. For more information on custom location follow the documents link in my signature, go to advanced and read the section on custom firefox location, if this browser is chrome based, change the word Firefox to chrome when following the directions it provides. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
