Mel2
I use a download accelerator called DAP, and in it there's what they call a trace cleaner, which removes traces of downloads. Here's a screenshot: Does CCleaner already do this? If so, automatically in monitoring or through a scan? And if not can it be added?
Moderators Andavari Posted December 28, 2013 Moderators Share Posted December 28, 2013 You may want to check out the winapp2.ini (file), although I don't know if DAP is listed in it or not.

Thanks, but I was talking more about CCleaner incorporating it into their stock software to be more complete if possible.
Moderators Nergal Posted December 29, 2013 Moderators Share Posted December 29, 2013 Most items added to ccleaner's code first make their appearance in the winapp2 thread. This allows multiple users to test the entry and makes more software available to the developers than they may have access (or time) to in order to make entries. You have a better chance of having your request honored by the developers if you travel the route my colleague suggested. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
