Mel2
As it is right now you can only choose one type of file to search for in Recuva. It would be better imo to have the option to search for more than one without having to search for all. A check-box layout where you can choose images AND videos, or any combination of multiple file types. To
Moderators Augeas Posted December 28, 2013 Moderators Share Posted December 28, 2013 A reasonable idea - but it depends on what you're trying to achieve. Recuva will always scan the entire partition whatever the selection criteria is, then filters the results for the user. You can scan anything in the Wizard then go into Advanced Mode and select all the options (one at a time) in the Filename/Path box, without rescanning. So you don't have to rescan for a new selection, and the multiple type selection won't speed up the scan.

Thanks for clearing that up.
