When I try to access the drive via a USB adapter cable using my PC Windows says I need to format the drive first before using it. Therefore I definitely suspect the MBR is bad on it. So, I tried to access the files using Recuva. I do a deep scan. After 8+ hours in the scan it always seems to stay at 56% on Stage 1. I've let scan run for a little over 8 hours then cancelled. I've tried waiting 12+ hours. When I check the scan, once again it's at 56%. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
