I would've never known about this filter subscription had it not become available in Adblock for Chrome, it adds in allot of protection.

very cool, just added it to my adblock list. thanks for that.

one question, that list made by malwaredomains, i take it that will need to be manually updated in adblock plus ?

there doesn't seem to be an auto-update feature.

looks very similar to the HOSTS MVPS methodology.

Backup now & backup often.
It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.
Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.

I only started using it just before I made this topic, so I don't know. I did see a reference that it needs to be updated daily.

I have found out that it's easier to uninstall completely Adblockplus and then reinstalling it. It will show a menu offering several new features... namely (block malware domains, remove Facebook and Twitter "like" buttons and prevent web usage tracking). For Firefox you need to manually delete two files containing "adblock" word before reinstalling.

If anyone knows of an easier method, please post it. I don't know why the new setup menu doesn't come up after autoupdating ABP.

That is easier! I followed your instructions and it showed a 1st Use page to enable those other subscriptions. Strange how it was never available when upgrading/over-installing Adblock Plus versions.

Go to: https://adblockplus....n/subscriptions

Scroll down to Miscellaneous then click on Subscribe: Malware Domains.

This will open Adblock Plus Options in a new tab. At least it doe's in Comodo Dragon.

Click on + Add button and your done.
