no just want to omit some folders to speed up scanning

 

 

How long is it taking?

Windows Pro Media 8.1 x64  |  8GB Ram  |  500G HDD 7200 RPM  |  All  that I know about my graphics is that it's Intel  :)

What folders would you want to eliminate? Anything that is scanned by CCleaner you can already turn off. What else is left?

 

And eliminating those elements probably wouldn't make a huge speed difference anyway. You might shave off a few tenths of a second, but nothing substantial.

Save a tree, eat a beaver.

Ccleaner does not randomly scan a pc for crap, it only cleans what is listed under the "Windows" and "Applications Tab". This is why it is so safe to use, well as long as you are not one of those :wacko: who store there files in a temp folder. If you want to omit a folder simply find the one you don't want and untick it.
