Moderators DennisD Posted April 23, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 23, 2013 Hi ken, and welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear of your woes, but you'll have to provide a fair bit more information than that if anyone is gonna attempt to assist you. Which type of files are you trying to recover and from which type of medium? Hard drive, flash drive, what size, which filesystem type (ntfs\FAT) etc.. Which operating system are you on, and some descriptive info as to what happened and what you have tried so far. Thanks.
Alan_B
I could not find any discussion on how to recover files from media where the boot file has been corrupted How can that be ? I would not expect Windows to be able to even run if the system boot file was corrupt. I was not aware that non-system media such as a flash drive even needed a boot file.
