Using Ccleaner to delete startups

Recommended Posts

I deleted a startup which Cleaner detected was starting each time I started my laptop.

Just wondering if Cleaner completely deleted the program, or just the startup part of the program: Could the program still be running in the backround?

Thanks

just the startup part

shouldn't be running in background unless it has other autostart commands (such as a task)

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
