CCleaner 3.27 critical error in system restore mode

I am using CCleaner 3.27. I am getting a critical error dialog when I try to use the

System Restore tool. It's been working fine for quite some time until today.

I ran ccleaner64.exe /debug and its getting the Error loading branding.dll.

 

error message: "The thread attempted to read from or write to a virtual address

for which it does not have the appropriate access"

 

Tried to uninstall and reinstall - no difference HELP
