Moderators Nergal Posted December 13, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 13, 2012 rumors I read yesterday included future inclusion of Foursquare, and a buyout of GPS company Tom-Tom and leveraging their tech to better the maps (read stop leading people into desert deaths) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Winapp2.ini
Some people are complaining that the new iOS Google Maps is better than the one for Android. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
Moderators Nergal Posted December 13, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 13, 2012 And Proof that this is a path apple should either fix or turn-back on. Just a few hours after its return to the App Store, Google Maps is the most popular free app in the bunch. http://news.cnet.com...ee-iphone-apps/ ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Moderators rridgely Posted December 14, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 14, 2012 I wish apple would buy TomTom. Google maps is cool and all but it's turn by turn directions aren't nearly as good as my TomTom standalone GPS. I like the new app but I wouldn't personally rely on it to take me somewhere I was unfamiliar with.

Moderators rridgely Posted December 15, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 15, 2012 One thing I think its important to note is that iOS has GPS applications from the three major GPS makers. Magellan, TomTom, and Garmin all have iOS apps that work very well on iphone and ipad. Android doesn't have any of these.(at least I cant find them on my nexus 7)
Winapp2.ini
When I was in sixth grade I wrote a small (fiction) story about how Nintendo had made a hand-held computer, and had continued on to dominate the tech field and purchase a great number of companies (and the New York Giants) The story was supposed to be non-fiction retelling of our weekend. Either way, I might've been pretty close, just transpose Apple or Google with Nintendo, since Nintendo hasn't been doing anything close to what I described. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
