Moderators Nergal Posted December 6, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 6, 2012 then your firefox is not entirely closing (something perhaps a add-on is stopping firefox's processes from completely stopping try this before running ccleaner exit firefox (from within firefox) then open task manager go to the second section (background processes) of the first tab (processes) and look for Firefox.exe or plugincontainer.exe also be sure that any Mozilla based product is completely closed now try running ccleaner I have asked a Administrator to change your username as using your email address as a username (or in a post) will attract spam to yourself and the forum. I've asked for them to shave everything after and including the @ symbol) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
