MarcGabi
Hello. Can anyone tell me what checking off these options would do and if it is suggested? Thank you.
Moderators Augeas Posted October 9, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 9, 2012 Alternate data streams were originally intended to support Mackintosh's Hierarchical File System (HFS) but are used for some Windows internal functions. A cluster tip is the unused part of a cluster that is allocated to a file but not completely filled by the file data. You can wipe both of these with impunity. Well, I do, but Alan B has researched ADS far more that I have so he might have something to say.
