Mattshu
I'm sure this has been suggested before, but I'm short on time. Sorry. I use CCleaner about once every one to two weeks, and it seems every time I start it, there's an update that requires me to re-download the software. How about we remove the middle man and just include an automatic update feature so all I'd have to do is click "Update" and a quick restart to the program? (This also applies to Defraggler, though it's updated less frequently) This is not a complaint at all. I love what you people at Piriform are doing. This is just a suggestion of convenience. Winapp2.ini
Ccleaner is only updated once a month cyclically, unless there is a bugfix release. The Pro version updates automagically. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
Mattshu
Oh, well that would make sense. I do use it about twice a month. I still think both versions should update automagically, though.
Moderators hazelnut Posted June 4, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 4, 2012 Some of the features that the Pro version give, such as auto-updating and cleaning other users profiles, help to fund the free version which so many users have. It's a tough financial world out there for everyone including software companies.
