Windows System Restore points

Why would you want this when Windows does it from time to time anyway. If you are doing a lot of install/uninstalls you would be better served to reload Windows from time to time. You will also find that manually cleaning the Registry-VERY carefully-will be of benefit.

Just a thought-I always set a Restore point prior to testing a new program for up to 14 days. I also log what I did in the meantime if I changed something (no new install/unstall operations).

You can delete the most recent restore points by going to

My Computer > right click on your HDD e.g. (C:) > Properties > Disk Cleanup > click on the tab More Options > under System Restore click Cleanup :)

Why would I want this - deleting unused files is part of the function of ccleaner

I do use the system restore function, but usually I have to manually delete them, whereas it would be good if ccleaner could do it for me
