I think I ran an uninstall when I removed another media player I had downloaded. The shortcut appears on the desktop and there is a Divx folder in the Programs folder. Add/Remove programs in the control panel does not find anything called DivX. ccleaner Uninstall does ot find any DivX program. The question: if add/remove cannot see it and if cCleaner cannot see it, has it been uninstalled? (aside: I later discovered that installing the K-Lite codek pack solved the problem I was having. I recommend no one install the divx player or any of their software. Lots of people have complained, on the DivX website.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
