Hernono
I tried v1.15.309 as a first time user on win xp sp2 system and it just crashes only. Where can I download an older version maybe v1.07 or earlier to try out?
Hernono
Never mind. I tried v1.07.205 and it's useless too.
Moderators hazelnut Posted January 27, 2012 Moderators Share Posted January 27, 2012 Would you perhaps try running in debug mode and attaching a log here so the devs can see it? http://www.piriform.com/docs/speccy/troubleshooting-speccy/running-speccy-in-debug-mode Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com

Now open the Speccy directory (where speccy.exe or speccy64.exe are) and you'll see a file with the crash date name that's a log file. Please attach that file to this thread (you may have to rename it .txt instead of .log) also a .dmp file was probably created, you'll want to hold onto that as the developers may ask you for it as they investigate. @Hernono be sure that wmi service is running on your windows machine. Moderators Nergal Posted January 29, 2012 Moderators Share Posted January 29, 2012 that's the whole log? I don't see a crash in that. did speccy crash? if so be sure to keep the dmp file that is in the same folder incase the developers (who read all threads) need it ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. colgate007
I'm having the same problem with v1.15.309. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem persists. It starts the analysis, populates some results (runs for a few seconds) and then crashes. I ran in debug mode and I am attaching the log file. There does not appear to be a .dmp file. Moderators Nergal Posted February 15, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 15, 2012 Dumps and logs are crucial. please cause the BSOD to happen then use the nirsoft utility "Blue Screen View" to pull the dump ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
