jjl_hunter
Hello everyone! New to the forum......I have a odd problem that I can't figure out. I have the CCleaner running at startup, but everytime it is done my folder views in explorer are always reset back to default (large icons) even when I have selected (tools|folder options|view|remember each folders view setting) & applied to all folders...setting the view to details. My question is then what file(s) are being erased & can ccleaner be set not to delete these custom setting files? Thanks in advance & hope this makes sense.. jjl_hunter (jeff)
Moderators Andavari Posted December 16, 2005 Moderators Share Posted December 16, 2005 Perhaps you have something selected in: Cleaner > Cleaner Settings > Advanced I'd think it would be Window Size/Location Cache.

mykeeX
I have a friend who's also having a simillar problem.. but the issue is with msn messenger.. Only when she runs CCleaner is sets her msn fonts, sounds, tabs, msn today windows pops up. Basically all the lame default settings come back. She's running the current version of CCleaner and msn messenger, and this "ONLY" happens when she's runs CCleaner on her laptop.. she has the same settings on her desktop with both programs, but msn messenger on laptop has resets back to default. Any ideas? If need more detailed info on problem, please let me know.. TYIA.. mykeeX
