Moderators nukecad 7 Posted March 14, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 14, 2018 The Update to v59.0 broke my taskbar link (and icon) for Firefox. I had to restart the PC before I could unpin the old taskbar link and create a new one. Another heads up - but it won't affect many people. There is a conflict between Malwarebytes Anti Exploit stand alone beta v 1.12.1.37 and Firefox - The full Malwarebytes 3 is not affected, it uses an earlier version of the anti-exploit. It started showing after the latest Windows Cumulative Update, so the Windows OS itself may be involved. Both Mozilla and Malwarebytes are aware of the issue. The conflict affects the opening of new tabs, they may display a blank instead of the requested page. Even if you do not see this behaviour Firefox is creating a crash report everytime you open a new page if you have MBAE stand alone running. (Check 'About:crashes').
