Selvan
Is it possible to log temperature readings while Speccy is running?
grendizer
I can't beleive this has never been answered since 2011. I need this feature too! Is it available on the pro version? One of my PC's often freezes / crashes and I don't know what's the cause. I want to know if it's temperature-related. Very often I'm not monitoring this PC, so I need temperature logging to check if the cause is a high temperature.
Moderators hazelnut Posted February 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 12, 2017 Have you checked in the Windows Event Viewer to see what is logged there at the time of the freeze/crash? Moderators mta Posted February 12, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 12, 2017 and some motherboards BIOS also record events. it may not record the actual temperature but may record a 'thermal event' of some description. grendizer
I'm doing a full investigation on the crash, so far haven't found the cause. Yes I'm watching the Event Viewer app.I don't know if my Bios is recording event, but it would be much simplier if a Windows app logs the temperature history. So from what I understand, Speecy can't do it?
