nodles
What if IE is uninstalled/disabled? Also, it's annoying when Windows Update suggests updates for other products (eg Office) I've not even installed (like Publisher), those would take unnecessary space (from my smallish SSD). I always hide those & IE updates.

Moderators hazelnut Posted December 15, 2011 Author Moderators Share Posted December 15, 2011 Big Brother knows best Before Extended Support End Date of 2014 they may render XP so undesirable with their invasion that no one will want XP any more Alan please keep on topic. @noodles from my link above Microsoft says customers who have declined previous installations of IE8 or IE9 through Windows Update will not be automatically updated. Future versions of IE will provide an option in the product for consumers to opt out of automatic upgrading Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
