techdecisions
I have .IAB files I would like to recover. I have run a complete scan. Certain document types are displayed. Not .IAB. I know exactly where files are. Does Recuva recover .IAB? If so, why no display?
Moderators Nergal Posted December 7, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 7, 2011 Instead of using the Wizard in Recuva do a scan in advanced mode. Then in the search box type *.iab ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
